Wave Guide Application
Radio Wave Transceivers / Wave Guides are manufactured in light materials such as aluminum. The aluminum substrate is protected with electroless nickel and subsequently coated with copper and/or silver as the copper and silver coatings provide good conductivity of the microwave radio signals. Atotech's recommended product for the electroless nickel plating is Nichem 2700 or Nichem 1127 (Pb/Cd-free).
