In addition to the R&D Centers in Berlin, Feucht, Trebur (Germany), Jablonec (Czech Republic), Basle (Switzerland), Barcelona (Spain), West Bromwich (UK), Rock Hill (USA), Yokohama (Japan) and Singapore, Atotech undertook major investments to install TechCenters around the world equipped with production scale pilot lines, as well as analytical and materials science service labs. TechCenters are located in Berlin, Feucht and Trebur (Germany), Basle (Switzerland), Yokohama (Japan), Shanghai and Guangzhou (China), Guanyin (Taiwan), Jangan (S. Korea), Bangalore (India - from 2009), Rock Hill (USA), Burlington (Canada) and São Paulo (Brazil).

The TechCenter Approach

With the ultimate goal of customer proximity, TechCenters provide a wide range of services from customer sampling, analysis and testing, to qualification runs under production scale conditions. Pilot lines are available to test and optimize Atotech processes in a mass production environment. The analytical laboratories are equipped to perform both routine analysis as well as sophisticated examinations. Furthermore an array of materials science investigation methods is available ranging from scanning electron (SEM) to focused ion beam microscopy (FIB). Moreover the laboratories provide advanced techniques for surface finish, quality and reliability testing. These include standard performance tests for soldering, bonding, corrosion resistance and torque tension measurements, carried out in accordance with OEM specifications.

With 17 production plants in Europe, Asia and the Americas Atotech is always close by to fulfill customer demands. Atotech manufacturing sites are designed to high specifications in order to guarantee safety, consistent high quality and protect the health of Atotech employees, neighbors and the environment. All Atotech manufacturing sites are not only certified to ISO 9001 Quality Management System Standard, but have all passed ISO 14001 as well as the International Safety Rating (ISRS). These ensure an environmentally responsible handling and consistent high quality products to be delivered in time from any Atotech manufacturing plant worldwide.
