The Aurotech CNN/Fine Line process

Aurotech CNN: Worldwide most established ENIG process for mass production of rigid PWBs

The amount of make ups needed for a high volume production could end up in a stop and go process, if the life times of the individual process steps are not in harmony with each other. Additionally an overall short life time of process steps reduces precious production time.

Performance stability over a time frame of 31 Days production / 2,400 panels a day

Only small thickness deviations occur for both, the nickel layer as well as the gold layer. No influence of bath age is seen within the lifetime of the baths.

Aurotech Activator 1000

This palladium sulphate based activator ensures with a lifetime of 5 MTO a production throughput of approximately 46m2/l cut board. As it is chloride-free, no precipitation, which could disturb the functionality of the activator, occurs.

The unique formulation with 6g/l nickel and a lifetime of 6 MTO (36g/l nickel plated) provides a throughput of around 4 m2/l cut board ( 5µm Thickness, 10% active surface) with constant plating quality combined with a high bath stability.

Aurotech SF Plus

The immersion gold bath delivers a uniform and dense gold layer within the lifetime of 10 MTO (when run with a gold concentration of 1g/l).High performance at a maximum bath life ensures constant layer characteristics for multiple soldering and Al-wire bonding. Reduced down time for bath make-ups and maintenance increases production capacity.
