ResistStrip IC-1

ResistStrip IC-1 is a single step stripping process, specially formulated for use in the stripping of fully aqueous dry film photoresist's that are used within IC Substrate manufacture. The process is based upon two components, which can be blended either directly in the stripping module or via an independent storage container prior to introduction into the stripping machine. This flexibility makes ResistStrip IC-1 suitable for all types of stripping equipment with either "dashpot" or bulk storage style replenishment systems.

Based upon ResistStrip 715 and ResistStrip 720, ResistStrip IC-1 is an excellent alternative where due to machine limitations; 2-step stripper processes are not suitable.

ResistStrip IC-1 has been designed and tested for use in the most challenging of stripper applications such as the stripping of ultra fine line track and gap images that are common to IC Substrate products.

When used in conjunction with other components in the ResistStrip series, this system is designed to remove the photoresist completely, and due to the use of an integrated inhibitor system, with minimal attack on the underlying metal substrates. By adopting Atotech's 'Total System Approach', stripping performance is greatly enhanced through the use of Atotech's patented Resist Filtration System, meaning that ResistStrip IC-1 gives complete removal of commonly used photoresist's with the lowest overall cost.
