Zylite® – The Ideal Choice for Plating of Cast Iron and Hardened Steel
Acid zinc electroplating is the most commonly used process for plating fasteners in barrel application due to its high current effeciency and therefore high plating speed. Atotech's chloride acid zinc processes from the Zylite® range provide high gloss coatings with superior covering properties and a decorative chromium-like appearance. The cloud point of the electrolytes allows to operate with temperatures up to 45 °C, resulting in lower energy consumption for cooling devices.
Zylite® ST – Boric Acid-free Acid Zinc
Zylite® ST is the next generation of ammonium-free acid zinc processes operating without boric acid. It provides ultra bright and leveled zinc coatings, ensures low electrolytic consumption rates and eliminates the problem of anode polarization. Zylite ST is operating with liquid additives, which guarantees safer and easier working conditions.
