Ferroplate® – The Green Alternative Process to Chrome, Nickel and Tin Plating
High Surface Hardness and Excellent Abrasion Resistance
Ferroplate® is an Iron-Phosphorus alloy plating process imparting high surface hardness and excellent abrasion resistance especially to Aluminium alloy components. The hard, electrodeposited Iron alloy has superior corrosion resistance and can be plated at very high speeds for best productivity.
Features and Benefits
- Stronger corrosion resistance than Iron
- Very high plating speeds possible
- Specific process developed for the pretreatment and FeP plating of
high Silicon Aluminium alloys typically used in small engines - Alternative process for engine cylinder coating to replace cast iron liners
