Green Production Technology for General Metal Finishing (GMF)

Next to the environmentally responsible chemical products also Atotech's auxiliary equipment supports the effort towards "greener" production with ion exchange technologies for Cr(III) passivates, electrolytic nickel and trivalent chrome plating electrolytes. Metal recovery systems for electrolytic nickel and a regeneration system for acid zinc electrolytes are offered as well and last but not least large electroless nickel installations benefit from Atotech's state-of-the-art and patented electrodialysis system.

Using Atotech's Production Technology demonstrate that besides the cost and technology advantages  there are also benefits for environmental protection. Greener production supports customers in reducing their environmental footprint and helps to be more profitable in a sustainable way.

For over 50 years Atotech has designed and produced systems for the plating industry at the Atotech site in Feucht close to Nuremberg.
