Atotech makes compliance with German and European data protection directives a top priority. Atotech does not only endeavour to comply with the legal provisions on data protection, but also tries to consider the recommendations by accepted bodies for voluntary control concerning data protection.

Personal data includes individual information on personal and material matters of a certain person or natural person which can be identified; other data in terms of this declaration includes any information arising on the part of Atotech when using the website and which is not deemed personal data. In case of doubt, information is regarded as personal data by Atotech; this applies in particular to e-mail addresses.

3. Data Collection

Atotech undertakes to collect personal data only according to the legal provisions. Other data is collected by Atotech mainly by way of connection information usually saved on web servers. This information includes among others the date of access, the called page or file, the browser software used and the IP address of the user.
The other data is not used for drawing conclusions with regard to the user him-/herself. Furthermore, other data is further processed or evaluated only in anonymous form, e.g. for statistic purposes, elimination of errors or investigation in case of attempted burglary.
