Solder Mask / Resist for Flexible PCBs

SD 2463 FLEX-HF Series are photoimageable solder masks specifically developed for Flexible PCB’s surface protection. Furthermore are available excellent UV- and thermal-curing solder resist for high throughput flexible applications for e.g. mobile phone connectors or for demanding reliability requirements e.g. in connection with thick copper technology. All products are applied by screen-printing. Other application are demanding engine control units in automobiles, flex for handheld equipment in general and flexible chip-packages or COF (chip on Flex). Flexible Photoimageable Solder Mask

ELPEMER® SD 24X3 FLEX-HF (X=6 green, X=2 amber) are halogen-free (HF), photoimageable solder masks for flexible boards cover bending requirement during assembly processes. The main advantages in summary:

		High resolution and down to < 50 mm solder dams

Flexible UV-and Thermal-curing Solder Mask
For lower resolutions requirements, UV-curing solder masks / resists, SD 24X0/201 UV-FLEX Series [X = 6 (green); X = 5 (blue); X = 9 (white)] and thermal curing SD 2460 Flex Series perfectly satisfy flexibility requirements as well as thermal loads during lead-free soldering processes.
