Uniplate P - Smear Removal for Standard or SBU Applications
Atotech can build on many years of experience with desmear systems running at leading PCB manufacturers worldwide. This experience has been successfully transformed into leading edge technology including all latest SBU processes (RCC and bare laminate).
Therefore, with Atotech's desmear systems the complete range of board types can be processed at high throughput rates, from multilayers through to thicker boards and HDI boards as well as bare laminate boards in case of semi additive process.
The P-system ensures best results with almost all base materials on the market (except chemical non resistant substrates and material containing acrylic adhesives).
Special features:
- Permanganate Regeneration System (Oxamat).
The use of Oxamat results in: Longer bath life, thus greater process stability and less special waste water treatment.
Oxamat systems are available in a modular design to be used as a back pack systems for Uniplate systems or as an assembly of modules into segments as required for desmearing systems to process bare laminate boards for e.g. SAP application in big quantities.
