
- Atotech adds Vice President HR position to the senior management team
- Daniel Wan will drive strategic HR initiatives and develop the HR function globally
Berlin, 5 March, 2018: Atotech reinforces its strategic positioning in the HR organization by adding Daniel Wan as Vice President Human Resources to the senior management team, effective 3 April, 2018. Daniel will report directly into the CEO, Geoff Wild, and will be based in Hong Kong.
“Daniel brings with him more than 25 years international HR management experience primarily gained in hi-tech and chemical industries. He has worked in both in-house and consulting environments and I am delighted that he will join us to lead our global HR endeavors and help foster our leading position in the plating solutions industry,” says Atotech’s CEO, Geoff Wild.
In his role, Daniel will be responsible for formulating and driving strategic HR initiatives, providing an overall steer for the company to advance key people-related priorities in support of the business, as well as developing the HR function globally. Whilst the position of Vice President Human Resources has been newly created, Daniel takes over the HR responsibilities from Gregor Frank, Vice President General Secretariat.

Prior to working with Atotech, Daniel served as Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources at Rotam, a Taiwan-listed agrochemical company. Other previous appointments include Group HR Director for AZ Electronic Materials, Senior Director – Corp Learning & Organization Development for Avery Dennison, and APAC HR Manager – Networking, Internet & Communications for Intel. Daniel began his career in 1989 as a Consultant in the field of Organizational Development and Human Resources.
