Berlin, February 1, 2018: Today, the Top Employers Institute announced that Atotech Deutschland GmbH has been awarded the Top Employer Germany Ingenieure 2018 certification. With this award, the institute acknowledges Atotech Deutschland’s outstanding employee offerings in areas like talent strategy, learning and development, and compensation and benefits.
As part of the preceding evaluation process, the company was audited in a total of nine different HR-relevant categories and measured against a total of 600 HR best practices. Atotech Deutschland earned the certification as a Top Employer because its employee offerings across all measured criteria surpassed the required high standard. While Atotech Deutschland was the only Atotech entity to take part in the certification process, many of the required HR best practices are also in place at other worldwide entities of the group.
David Plink, CEO of Top Employers Institute, says, “From our research, we have seen how the organizations certified in Germany put the development of their people first and are continuously working to optimize their HR and people development practices. Atotech Deutschland GmbH is part of this select group of employers.”
Dirk Schepers, Global HR Coordinator and Head of HR Germany at Atotech, stresses, “We attach great importance to fostering and developing talent throughout the company and to providing excellent employee conditions. Therefore, we are proud to have been awarded the ‘Top Employer Germany Ingenieure 2018’ certification. To us, this certification is a very positive milestone acknowledging our achievements, which we still want to enhance in the future.”
The Top Employers Institute is an independent organization uncovering HR best practices of significant employers around the world. The institute assessed employee offerings on the following criteria: talent strategy, workforce planning, on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, leadership development, career and succession management, compensation and benefits, and culture.
Crucial to the procedure is that participating companies must complete a stringent research process – the Top Employers Institute’s international HR Best Practices Survey – and meet the required high standard to achieve the certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers provided by the certified company during the process are independently audited.
