Berlin, October 16 – MKS’ Atotech, a leading surface finishing brand within the Materials Solutions Division of MKS, will participate in The Battery Show India 2025, to be held at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, India, from October 30 to November 1, 2025.
The Battery Show India 2025 is a key event supporting India’s clean energy goals and industry collaboration. It highlights innovations in battery technology, energy storage, and electric mobility. The conference covers the full battery lifecycle, featuring lithium-ion and solid-state batteries, BMS, fast-charging infrastructure, and recycling. With over 200 brands showcasing EV and energy storage solutions, the show drives growth and innovation across the sector.
Surface treatment technologies play a critical role in improving battery efficiency and safety by addressing corrosion and adhesion challenges that can undermine performance. These solutions not only address issues at cell-level, but also provide benefits across the entire battery ecosystem, including modules, packs, and thermal management system components.
MKS’ Atotech will showcase its advanced surface finishing solutions for EV, HEV, and PHEV batteries. Cupracid® Up ‒ Advanced copper plating solution, used as an intermediate layer between nickel strike or immersion copper layer and the top electromagnetic shielding nickel iron layer.
CuProtect® XL ‒ Cr(VI)-free post-treatment, operating at high speed in high current densities with short exposition times.
