The latest generation of inorganic sealer
Sealer 300 W 2.0 offers the outstanding features of MKS’ Atotech patented inorganic Sealer 300 W family. Additionally Sealer 300 W 2.0 shows reduced residues for less afterwork efforts and a more homogeneous appearance.
Sealer 300 W products are used around the world whenever outstanding performance is required. The patented inorganic reactive Sealer 300 W family provides highest corrosion protection, even after assembling.
Rather than simply building a film over the passivate layer, this technology reacts with the passivate to form a durable bond. This unique trait has proven to have the best performance in outdoor corrosion conditions.
During drying, the sealer reacts with the underlying passivate to form a unique crack-free bond. This results in continuously high long-term corrosion protection without aging. Excellent performance at corrosion protection was achieved in neutral salt spray tests and corroborated by results in cyclic corrosion and outdoor exposure tests, where it outperforms conventional sealer technologies.
The sealer is purely inorganic to be compatible with brake fluid. Different lubricated sealer versions are available to cover the whole range of friction requirements for the automotive fastener industry.
